Once your characters are selected, press Start to begin. The left Joy-Con is Player 1 and will control Cuphead, while the right Joy-Con is Player 2 and will control Mugman. To do this, click Player 1 on the left Joy-Con, then Player 2 on the right Joy-Con. In two player mode, you can either decide on which character you want to be or you can assign one Joy-Con to each Cuphead. You can also select 2 Player VS if you would like to play against each other. On the next screen, select 2 Player to begin.
Once your controllers are connected, start the game and select Play from the main menu. To play 2 player on Cuphead for Switch, you will need two controllers.įor local two player co-op, you must have two Joy-Con controllers or one Pro controller.
